Call to Action: Cruelty-Free Easter

There’s no better place to begin than the dinner table. As we break bread, let’s break ties with some of the most violent and ungodly places on Earth — slaughterhouses and factory farms.

Before they become Sunday’s centerpiece, animals on factory farms are denied everything that God designed them to want and do. They never breathe fresh air, nurture their young, play with other animals, or do anything to live out the biblical concept that “God’s mercy is over all His creatures.”

For example, pigs spend their entire lives in filthy concrete pens, and cruelty is rampant, as witnessed by PETA investigators. PETA’s investigation of Belcross Farm, a pig-breeding facility in North Carolina, resulted in the first-ever felony indictments for cruelty to animals by farm workers in the U.S. PETA’s recent undercover investigation at Seaboard Farms, Inc. has resulted in the filing of felony cruelty-to-animals charges against a former manager at the facility.

Easter is also no celebration for hens on egg farms, who suffer constant confinement to tiny, filthy wire cages. Male chicks are killed—often through suffocation—since they don’t produce eggs, and female chicks have their beaks painfully seared off to keep them from pecking one another. Cows on dairy farms are kept continually impregnated, and their calves are snatched away just after birth so that their mothers’ milk can be consumed by humans.

At the end of their short, miserable lives, these animals are crammed into trucks, with little protection from the elements, to suffer the ultimate terror of the slaughterhouse, where workers hang them upside-down and slit their throats.

This Easter, please let pigs live by trying delicious faux ham recipes.

Congrats George Parros

Tonight George Parros had his 100th fight in 5 seasons. This leads to the question which fight was the greatest? That's a simple question to answer my friends. Watch and learn.

Gluten Free Is the way to be.

I suffer from a Gluten intolerance and I'm not an asshole so I'm VEGAN. These two things limit what I shove in my pie hole so when I came across this Gluten free MAC N CHEESE from AMYS made with DAIYA ( the greatest VEGAN CHEESE ever) I said to myself you're going to buy this, eat this, and give the paying customers what they want, a review.

It's an easy God Damn A+ It tasted like my black aunt Silvias pan of calories and fat from back in the old days. It's smothered in the yellow cheese gravy with the crisp semi burnt crust on the sides of the microwave container it comes in. I took the liberty of adding Catsup to it which didn't help because it stands alone as a great trip to soul town.

For my next adventure to cheeeeesey mac town I'm going to toast it under an infrared heating lamp to give it that extra crispy crust.

Pick up this product at WHOLE FOODS for around $5 Ducks.

Album Review: Monument to Thieves -Self Titled

Although I was fond of Dave's vocals and his "from the heart" lyrics on the first couple ep's Monument to Thieves released. I have to say I am completely impressed with the direction Keith has taken this band. Let's give credit where credit is due Tackling the pressing issues in this world has always been easy for Barney even from the early Throwdown records, my favorite being Drive me Dead which gave you an insight to his thought process in the liner notes. Monument to Thieves Takes on Equal Rights in this album as well as health care and lightens the mood with a great song about staying hardcore for life. I give this record a solid A- and the sound clips picked a A+ And the classic "CHINA DOLL BREAKDOWNS" a Mother F'n A++

can't wait to see these guys play with Disembodied in May.

Check out their Myspace and pick this album up at No Sleep Records I bought the 3 color Vinyl pack for 25 dollars and it came with stickers and a CD for each record one for your car one for your computer and one for a coaster if you're into that.

Skate on home lass

A Compilation to start this off.

+I am addicted to buying t shirts and other cool shit I find on the internet+

There I said it. I am a sucker for a cool design printed on cotton and when I see one I love I buy it even though I don't need it and I probably wont ever wear it. So I started this blog as a way to collect these T-shirts etc. and have them in my cyber closet. For example this Jane Doe Repress pre-order Shirt is fucking awesome. Bannon did it again.

I also saw this Integrity T design sold through Hell Fish Family. Integrity is my favorite hardcore band and their merch is always epic plus there is around 5-7 online shops selling their shit to the masses so 3-4 times a month a T comes to my attention and I throw out the cash to get it.

If you have any cash swing over and buy these and pick me up one too. I'd appreciate it.
